The Research Center of KISCO, which was the first research institute to be devoted to dye research in Korea, has been playing a crucial role in making KISCO the leader of its field with its pioneering accomplishments in technological innovation and research ever since its foundation in the 1980s.

Aggressive investments in research and development and management of great human resources have yielded world-class successes in research and development of reactive, disperse, fluorescent, and acidic dyestuffs. The Central Dye Research Center of KISCO, which is composed of the Synthetic Lab, Application Lab, Environmental Lab, and Machinery Lab, and the research facility at each factory equipped with high-tech dyes, environment-friendly dyes, dye intermediates, and the latest-technology equipments provide the ground for producing better products for the future environment. The many environmental experts at KISCO meticulously analyze environmental impacts of the KISCO products and seriously take into account the possible danger to the natural environment.

KISCO has consistently been expanding its investment in producing functional pigments, photosensitive intermediates for electronic materials, and highly precise chemical goods of high purity for display devices and semiconductors upon the basis of expertise and knowledge the company has accumulated throughout the last three decades.

Naphthoquinone, in particular, has been recognized as the best-quality photosensitive intermediate of its kind. Daito-KISCO Co., Ltd., a company KISCO founded in affiliation with Daito Chemics and Sumitomo Trade of Japan in 2005, is also currently in its stage of producing the photosensitive agent for the LCD.

Kyungin Research Center, which leads the competition with other world-renowned research facilities in terms of producing non-hazardous dyestuffs that contain the pure, bright colors of nature, promises to you to continue to devote itself to creating a world of beautiful natural colors throughout the 21st century.
